WORD OF THE WEEK : COURTESY
Courtesy is the act of having excellent manners. Someone who is courteous is extra helpful and always looking out for the benefit of others. A courteous person lends a helping hand to those who need it, whether it is helping mom and dad with the groceries or letting someone sit in your seat while you stand. Courtesy includes helping mom and dad clean your room and up the dishes after dinner. Offering to do favors for others and being generous with your time and kindness are also ways that you can be courteous.
*Have your parents write a note showing at least 3 examples of courtesy you have demonstrated this week and you will receive an extra life skill stripe on your belt.*
