Word of the Week

COURTESY

Courtesy is the act of having excellent manners. Someone who is courteous is extra helpful and always looking out for the benefit of others. A courteous person lends a helping hand to those who need it, whether it is helping mom and dad with the groceries or letting someone sit in your seat while you stand. Courtesy includes helping mom and dad clean your room and up the dishes after dinner. Offering to do favors for others and being generous with your time and kindness are also ways that you can be courteous.

This week is a special week, one where we can show courtesy by helping with Thanksgiving activies and telling people you love them and are thankful for them!

Similar words: nice, polite, respectful, kind, sweet, thankful

This week have a very happy thanksgiving and be sure to show courtesy to everyone you see!
